Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue artifact midrange strategy commanded by Padeem, Consul of Innovation. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap artifact mana acceleration and cost reducers in the early turns, establishing Padeem on Turn 3 or 4. Once assembled, Padeem shields your entire artifact infrastructure with passive hexproof while providing consistent card advantage on your upkeep. The midgame focuses on accumulating board presence through token generators like Sai, Master Thopterist and value engines like Crystal Skull, Isu Spyglass and Research Thief. With a critical mass of artifacts established, the deck transitions into lethal pressure on Turns 6 to 8 using powerful finishers such as Cyberdrive Awakener, Cybermen Squadron, Tezzeret the Seeker, or Blightsteel Colossus. While the deck enjoys strong internal protection against targeted removal, its primary vulnerabilities lie in a thin suite of reactive countermagic and susceptibility to mass bounce or exile board wipes.
