Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Selesnya Human tribal aggro deck commanded by Kyler, Sigardian Emissary. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient low-curve Humans and asymmetric hatebears during the opening turns, establishing mana advantage through dorks like Avacyn's Pilgrim and Katilda, Dawnhart Prime. On Turn 4, the deck deploys Kyler, followed by an explosive Turn 5 turn where token producers like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Horn of Gondor rapidly place multiple counters on Kyler. Because Kyler grants a static buff equal to its counters to every other Human, small tokens instantly become massive lethal threats. The deck protects its proactive game plan using premier defensive spells like Flawless Maneuver, Clever Concealment, and Grand Abolisher. If Kyler is countered or removed, independent overrun finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth and Moonshaker Cavalry provide reliable alternate win paths.
