Deck overview

This Bant deck focuses on building an overwhelming combat force using +1/+1 counters and proliferate mechanics. Led by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, the deck curves out with low-cost creatures and mana ramp before deploying Tidus on turn 3 or 4. Moving counters and connecting in combat triggers Tidus's Cheer ability, which provides steady card draw and proliferates across all modified permanents. As the board grows, counter multipliers like Hardened Scales and engines like Forgotten Ancient turn small threats into lethal attackers. The deck grants combat evasion through Sphere Grid, Duskshell Crawler, and Chocobo Knights, while one-sided board wipes like Damning Verdict clear path blockers. Protection spells like Inspiring Call and Protection Magic help maintain board presence against opposing removal, letting the deck eliminate opponents over successive attack steps around turns 6 to 8.
