Ur my Sphinxter by Theverb

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Sphinx

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck executes an Esper Sphinx kindred beatdown and value strategy powered by The Ur-Sphinx in the command zone. Its eminence ability reduces the mana cost of high-impact Sphinxes from turn one, allowing you to establish large flying threats well ahead of curve. Card advantage engines like Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and Consecrated Sphinx keep your hand full, while cost reducers like Urza's Incubator accelerate your board state. You achieve victory through overwhelming aerial combat damage, casting massive free spells off of The Ur-Sphinx combat triggers, or securing alternate eliminations using Magister Sphinx, Atemsis, All-Seeing, and Medomai the Ageless.
