Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green tribal midrange list that harnesses the combat power and card advantage of Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan establishes early mana acceleration and low-mana Bears or changelings such as Wilson, Refined Grizzly, Ayula, Queen Among Bears, and Mother Bear. Once Beorn enters the battlefield on Turn 4, combat triggers grant trample counters, convert non-Bears, buff the board, and reliably draw two fresh cards each combat step. The deck compounds this board presence using proliferate engines like Evolution Sage and Sword of Truth and Justice alongside powerhouse mid-game threats like Surrak and Goreclaw, Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, and The Great Henge. Interaction relies on green fight, bite, and naturalize effects to police opposing threats. Win conditions center entirely on overwhelming trample combat damage across several combat steps, using Heroic Intervention and Veil of Summer to safeguard the creature engine.
