Deck overview

This Bruse Tarl and Ikra Shidiqi deck turns toughness into offense and life gain. Five enablers - Doran the Siege Tower, Assault Formation, Bedrock Tortoise, Felothar the Steadfast and Huatli - let creatures deal damage equal to toughness, so high-toughness walls and Treefolk hit hard. Ikra gains life equal to toughness on each combat hit and Bruse adds double strike and lifelink to double that gain. Life gain then powers Archangel of Thune, Betor Kin to All, Vito and Enduring Tenacity, while Angel of Destiny can win at 15 life above start. With no infinite combo, it wins through repeated toughness-powered attacks, often with an extra combat from Karlach or a Chandra's Ignition finish.
