Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and big mana burn strategy commanded by Shantotto, Tactician Magician. Shantotto rewards casting noncreature spells costing 4 or more mana by granting substantial power boosts and drawing cards, turning utility spells into card advantage. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana artifacts, cost reducers like Stormcatch Mentor, and casting Shantotto on turn 3. During turns 4 and 5, the deck plays 4-mana spells such as Big Score and Fact or Fiction to cycle through cards and generate Treasure tokens while deploying multiplier permanents like Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Veyran, Voice of Duality. On turn 6, the deck unleashes massive mana rituals like Mana Geyser or an overloaded Mizzix's Mastery, channeling that mana into decisive direct-damage finishers such as Crackle with Power, Comet Storm, or an infinite Reiterate copy loop to defeat all opponents simultaneously.
