Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy archetype commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The core strategy revolves around ramping on Turn 1, deploying highly statted creatures with 5 or more power on Turns 2 and 3, and casting a 12/12 Ghalta for as little as two green mana on Turn 4. The deck converts its immense board power into sustainable card flow through draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise. It finishes games through overwhelm cards like Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and trampling combat damage across multiple rotations. While the deck possesses remarkable redundancy in aggressive beaters and rapid mana velocity, it lacks targeted tutor packages and stack interaction, making it reliant on raw card volume and vulnerable to well-timed board wipes. When uninterrupted, Ghalta presents a relentless offensive clock that can eliminate three opponents by Turn 7.
