This deck is a dedicated Mono-Black Aristocrats build commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER. The primary strategy focuses on establishing early recurring creature tokens through engines like Bitterblossom, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Ophiomancer, which are then converted into card advantage and life drain via Sephiroth and complementary sacrifice outlets. By engineering four creature deaths in a single turn, Sephiroth transforms into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, granting an emblem that permanently turns every creature death across the table into life drain.
