Azula

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Grixis spellslinger deck built around Fire Lord Azula's attack-triggered Firebending and her unique combat copy clause. The plan is to land Azula, attack, and dump instants and sorceries during combat so every spell is doubled while Firebending and ritual mana fuel oversized finishers. Primary wins are massive Torment of Hailfire and Crackle with Power casts, supported by storm multipliers (Thousand-Year Storm, Prismari, the Inspiration), magecraft drains (Guttersnipe, Professor Onyx, Vivi Ornitier), and combat explosions via the Firebending suite (Sozin's Comet, Ozai, the Phoenix King, Zuko, Firebending Master). Secondary lines include Hullbreaker Horror bounce loops and Dualcaster Mage copy interactions. The deck plays as a mid-game combat-combo engine that turns one untouchable attack step into a doubled storm turn.
