Deck overview

This list is an explosive Izzet spellslinger combo deck piloted by Vivi Ornitier. The core strategy revolves around resolving Vivi, enchanting it with Curiosity or Ophidian Eye, and casting cheap noncreature spells. Each cast triggers Vivi to deal 1 damage to each opponent, which in turn draws 3 cards. Vivi's {0} activated ability converts the accumulated +1/+1 counters into abundant colored mana, allowing the pilot to storm through the library in a single turn and burn out all three opponents simultaneously. The deck is backed by compact fast mana, powerful free countermagic (Force of Will, Deflecting Swat, Fierce Guardianship), and backup lines via Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Underworld Breach.
