Deck overview

This deck is an engine-driven combo list centered on Yedora, Grave Gardener. Its primary strategy abuses Yedora's death trigger, which returns dying nontoken creatures to the battlefield face down as Forest lands. By pairing Yedora with morph creatures that turn face up for zero mana—specifically Proteus Machine and Temur Charger—alongside a free sacrifice outlet like Altar of Dementia or Phyrexian Altar, the deck executes an infinite loop. This loop mills out every opponent or generates infinite mana and landfall triggers on the spot. Dense early ramp from low-mana dorks reliably accelerates Yedora onto the battlefield by Turn 4, enabling consistent Turn 5 combo assembly. Alternate win conditions include land-animation effects such as Life and Limb, Ambush Commander, and Nature's Revolt, or combat overruns led by Kamahl, Heart of Krosa. While the deck features robust draw and creature tutoring, it remains vulnerable to instant-speed creature removal and graveyard hate.
