Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius token and artifact midrange strategy led by Bard, King of Dale. The primary game plan revolves around generating a massive stash of Clue tokens and creature tokens in the early game using efficient investigative engines like Erdwal Illuminator, Forensic Gadgeteer, and Ethereal Investigator. Once Bard, King of Dale hits the battlefield, all token generation is doubled, and every extra card drawn beyond the draw step yields two cards instead of one. This creates explosive card velocity and board presence. To close the game, the deck turns its noncreature Clues into lethal armies using mass artifact animation cards like Cyberdrive Awakener, Rise and Shine, The Antiquities War, and Tangletrove Kelp, flying over opposing defenses. The deck also packs alternate win avenues like Triskaidekaphile and tall beatdown threats like Kappa Cannoneer.
