Deck overview

This Temur Dragon tribal deck is commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, aiming to overwhelm the table through rapid mana acceleration, duplicated dragon threats, and high-impact combat damage. The game plan opens with dense 1-to-3 CMC ramp spells and cost reducers to cast Miirym ahead of curve on Turn 4. Once Miirym is assembled, every subsequent Dragon cast creates a nonlegendary token clone, multiplying powerful ETB and attack triggers. Threats like Atarka, World Render double strike output to eliminate players in single combat phases, while Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest convert dragon ETB triggers into massive direct burn. Supporting draw engines such as Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising keep the hand refueled with each doubled creature. Although reliant on combat damage and vulnerable to mass exile sweepers, built-in ward protection and standalone dragon power enable fast, resilient victories.
