Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy combo engine commanded by Gyruda, Doom of Depths. Its primary objective is to accelerate into casting Gyruda on Turn 4 using a dense suite of artifact ramp and rituals. When Gyruda enters the battlefield, its triggered ability mills four cards from each player and reanimates an even-mana creature. The deck leverages over twenty clone creatures that enter as copies of Gyruda, triggering consecutive enter-the-battlefield abilities and rapidly milling the entire table. Value multipliers such as Roaming Throne, Starfield Vocalist, and Nightmare Shepherd further amplify these triggers. The inclusion of Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre ensures that the pilot's graveyard is shuffled back into the library, preventing self-decking while opponents lose their entire libraries and perish on their subsequent draw steps. Supported by efficient countermagic and interaction, the deck operates with exceptional consistency due to the commander being in the command zone and the high density of interchangeable clone pieces.
