Deck overview

This Bant midrange deck leverages Mr. Foxglove to bypass the heavy mana costs of game-ending creatures while maintaining immense card advantage. The game plan focuses on deploying early mana acceleration on turns 1-3 to cast Mr. Foxglove on turn 4. On turn 5, attacking with Foxglove either refills the hand against full-grip opponents or cheats massive threats such as Agent of Treachery, Woodfall Primus, Apex Altisaur, or Ultimecia, Temporal Threat directly into play. Once big creatures hit the board, flicker engines like Brago, King Eternal, Deadeye Navigator, and Displacer Kitten repeatedly trigger devastating enter-the-battlefield abilities to dismantle opposing boards and lock down combat. Protective tools such as Guardian of Faith, Boromir, Warden of the Tower, and Eerie Interlude shield the board against sweepers. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage across turns 6 to 8.
