Orvar by user8072958

Format: Commander

Commander: Orvar, the All-Form

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Orvar is a blue spell-slinger/combo deck built around copying permanents that instants and sorceries target. The primary plan is to resolve Orvar, then use cheap cantrips, untap effects, and buyback spells to duplicate mana rocks and value creatures, snowballing into infinite mana. Secondary paths are clone/value beats from Faerie Artisans, Flesh Duplicate, Thassa, and a Coveted Jewel/Ghostly Flicker/Mystic Sanctuary draw engine. The commander is the central engine for all main loops; there is no hidden commander. Realistic wins come from Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter infinite mana into Capsize/Peregrine Drake loops, creating an unbeatable flying army. Interaction is stack-heavy with counters and instant-speed removal, while the deck lacks haste, so final combats usually occur the turn after the loop is established.
