Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Sultai graveyard midrange and reanimator strategy piloted by Muldrotha, the Gravetide. The deck ramps efficiently on early turns with mana dorks, artifacts, and self-mill engines such as Mesmeric Orb and Stitcher's Supplier to turn the graveyard into an accessible second hand. It leverages versatile tutors like Buried Alive and Entomb to assemble its key pieces reliably. Once Muldrotha, the Gravetide or redundant engines like Six are operational, the deck establishes suffocating board control using repeatable disruption including Spore Frog, Glen Elendra Archmage, and Pernicious Deed. To win, the deck bypasses combat by deploying a massive creature such as Lord of Extinction or Consuming Aberration alongside Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, sacrificing the creature to deal 40 or more direct life loss to all opponents in a single burst. Fast recovery tools and robust redundancy ensure high resilience against conventional interaction.
