Deck overview

This deck pairs Jodah, the Unifier with an all-Phyrexian legendary creature suite. It curves into its five-color commander on turn 5, using Jodah's ability to cheat legendary Praetors and Dominuses directly onto the battlefield while providing a massive team-wide power buff. Each subsequent legendary spell cast cascades into another legendary permanent, rapidly establishing a board of oppressive Phyrexian threats like Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant, and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger. The deck applies critical pressure on turn 6 through overwhelming combat damage and asymmetric stax effects, closing the game on turn 8 across two opponent response cycles. While its high mana curve and thin ramp package make it vulnerable to early tempo losses and color friction, its individual threat quality and mass recursion provide strong late-game inevitability.
