Animar, Creature Feature. Crispi: by Thunderthruster

Format: Commander

Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Animar, Soul of Elements drives a Temur creature-storm deck that uses +1/+1 counters to make creatures free and converts infinite casts into wins. The primary plan is Ancestral Statue with four counters on Animar: Statue costs zero, bounces itself on entry, and loops for infinite Animar growth and infinite cast triggers. Draw engines - Primordial Sage, Soul of the Harvest, Beast Whisperer, Guardian Project, Temur Ascendancy and The Great Henge - turn the loop into deck draw, while Selvala, Heart of the Wilds plus Temur Sabertooth, Cloudstone Curio and Hullbreaker Horror form a secondary infinite mana/bounce line. Animar is the cost engine and main combo piece; Selvala/Sabertooth are hidden commanders enabling wins without Animar, with fair Eldrazi beats as backup.
