Deck overview

This Izzet deck is a high-velocity spellslinger and storm archetype commanded by The Twelfth Doctor. It focuses on casting spells from exile, the graveyard, and the command zone to trigger the demonstrate mechanic, doubling spell output while powering Magecraft and copy payoffs. The deck deploys mana rocks and cost reducers on early turns, setting up engines like Storm-Kiln Artist, Archmage Emeritus, and Veyran, Voice of Duality by turn 4. On turn 5, it converts explosive rituals such as Jeska's Will and Seething Song into game-ending storm turns using Underworld Breach, Mizzix's Mastery, Thousand-Year Storm, or an infinite copy damage loop with Ral, Storm Conduit and Reverberate. The list is fortified with premier free and low-cost interaction, including Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, and Cyclonic Rift, providing robust plan shielding and table control while racing toward a decisive same-turn finish.
