Deck overview

This deck is a Bant Exalted and Shield-counter midrange deck commanded by Falco Spara, Pactweaver. Its primary game plan is to deploy early low-cost creatures featuring Exalted or shield counters, cast Falco Spara on turn 4, and use Falco's top-deck casting ability to maintain steady card advantage. In combat, the deck funnels all power into a single evasive or double-striking attacker—such as Falco, Disciplined Duelist, or Rafiq of the Many—buffing it to lethal power through stacked Exalted triggers. Shield counters grant durable protection against damage and conventional destroy effects. However, the deck is strictly bound to attacking with one creature per combat phase, forcing it to eliminate opponents sequentially across several turns. It also lacks instant-speed removal, counterspells, and creature tutors, making it heavily reliant on natural combat momentum and vulnerable to mass bounce or exile sweepers.
