Commander: Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver is the engine of a blue-black zombie aristocrats deck. It converts every dead Zombie into a decayed token and turns each end step into card draw. The primary plan is to build a critical mass of Zombies, use lords and flying to push damage, and pivot into an infinite Gravecrawler loop with Bontu's Monument, Carrion Feeder, Rooftop Storm, or other cost reducers and a drain. Secondary plans include Living Death mass reanimation, The Scarab God's incremental drain, and a combat finish with Death Baron and Geralf's flying. There is no hidden commander; the double-faced Poppet Stitcher is a supporting engine whose back face, Poppet Factory, turns every token into a 3/3 and negates decayed.
