Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Alania, Divergent Storm that layers Otter tribal payoffs onto classic copy-and-storm patterns. The core plan is to develop cheap rocks and cantrips, land copy engines (Veyran, Voice of Duality, Twinning Staff, Galvanic Iteration, Alania herself), then convert redundant instant/sorcery casts into explosive mana and lethal burn. Primary finishes are oversized Crackle with Power turns fueled by Mana Geyser and Storm-Kiln Artist treasures, multiplied magecraft damage from Ashling, Flame Dancer and Coruscation Mage, and go-wide combat via Stormsplitter tokens and prowess Otters. Secondary paths include Thousand-Year Storm turns, Ral, Crackling Wit's storm emblem, and overloaded Mizzix's Mastery rebuying the yard. Alania is a powerful first-spell copier but is not required for the 99's copy density or win lines to function.
