Cursed Gameplay by SunbroFellow

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

At first glance Auntie Ool looks like a generic -1/-1 counter commander, but this list is a stax-heavy combo grind deck. The main plan is to resolve Auntie, then use Yawgmoth, Black Sun's Zenith, and wither sources to spread counters, turning every counter into cards (on your own creatures) or life loss (on opponents'). Secondary paths are a resilient sacrifice/drain package with Blood Artist and recursion creatures, and a pair of two-card infinite combos built around Mikaeus. Hapatra and The Scorpion God act as hidden backup commanders, because they generate tokens and draw off the same counter triggers. The deck aims to slow the table with Contamination/Smokestack and then break parity with recursive bodies.
