Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Rakdos combat and big-mana strategy led by Ozai, the Phoenix King. Ozai acts as both an aggressive 7/7 threat and an escalating mana battery. His firebending ability produces four red mana each time he attacks, and his static ability converts unspent mana into red mana that never empties between phases or turns. Once six unspent mana accumulates, Ozai gains flying and indestructible, making him exceedingly difficult to answer in combat. The deck accelerates into Ozai on Turn 4 using efficient mana rocks and rituals, then leverages the accumulated red mana to power extra combat spells like Aggravated Assault, Karlach, Fury of Avernus, and Seize the Day. Alternatively, it channels massive mana reserves into game-ending sorceries like Crackle with Power and Torment of Hailfire. Free protective interaction like Deflecting Swat and Not of This World shields key plays, creating a fast, explosive clock.
