winota big budget by tugboat

Format: Commander

Commander: Winota, Joiner of Forces

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Winota, Joiner of Forces is the engine of a Boros go-wide deck that attacks with cheap non-Human creatures and tokens, then uses her trigger to put Human payoff cards onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The primary plan is to chain multiple Winota triggers each combat, stacking anthem effects from Goldnight Commander, Honored Crop-Captain, and Fallaji Vanguard, then finish with Angrath's Marauders or Eomer. Secondary paths include a token beatdown plan with Captain of the Watch and Geist-Honored Monk, and incidental damage from Molten Gatekeeper and Rage Thrower. There is no double-faced or hidden commander; the deck is built entirely around Winota's combat trigger.
