Deck overview

Szarekh is a mono-black artifact/graveyard deck that uses the commander's attack trigger as a repeatable draw-and-mill engine, then weaponizes the graveyard with unearth, recursion spells, and Necron token generators. The primary plan is to amass artifact creatures and Vehicles, then finish through evasive combat - often with Krang granting flying, trample, indestructible, and haste - or through drain effects from Syr Konrad, Necron Overlord, and Bolas's Citadel. Secondary plans include mass reanimation with The War in Heaven or Living Death and an attrition drain plan. There is no true hidden commander; Imotekh the Stormlord and Syr Konrad are the strongest supporting engines.
