Deck overview

Isshin, Two Heavens as One is a Mardu attack-trigger deck that turns every combat into a value engine. The primary plan is to curve cheap attackers into Isshin, then double token creation, Equipment tutoring, card draw, and extra combat triggers. Secondary paths are the Godo + Helm of the Host infinite-combat loop (Godo acts as a hidden combo commander) and a Cathars' Crusade + Phyrexian Altar + Putrid Goblin mana/counter engine. The commander is the amplifier, not a required combo piece, so the deck can pivot to a wide Equipment beatdown plan if Isshin is taxed. It wins through overwhelming combat damage rather than a single finisher, with Akroma's Will and Myrel protecting the alpha strike.
