Commander: Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros Equipment deck leverages the Partner commanders Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to deliver a one-shot multi-kill. Ardenn attaches all Auras and Equipment for free at the beginning of combat, while Kediss spreads any commander combat damage it deals to an opponent to all other opponents. The primary game plan is to suit up Ardenn with enough power (e.g., Colossus Hammer, Inquisitor's Flail) to deal lethal commander damage to one opponent, then let Kediss kill the rest of the table in a single combat. The deck accelerates with cheap mana rocks, card draw from Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin, and tutors like Enlightened Tutor and Stonehewer Giant. Secondary beats come from creatures like Cloud, Midgar Mercenary or Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer suited up, but the critical kill hinges on the commanders.
