Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Atraxa midrange build designed to eliminate the entire table simultaneously through poison counters and proliferation. It applies early poison counters to every opponent using low-cost toxic creatures, unpreventable spell-based infection, or evasion attackers. Once opponents are poisoned, the deck deploys Atraxa, Praetors' Voice alongside compounding proliferation engines like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Evolution Sage, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician to tick all opponents up to 10 poison counters simultaneously. Potent asymmetric stax creatures, including Phyrexian Censor and Drannith Magistrate, slow down faster combo decks while leaving this deck's Phyrexian-heavy strategy unrestricted. Supported by premier free counterspells, efficient removal, and top-tier card engines like The One Ring and Rhystic Study, the deck maintains control over the stack and the board while advancing an irreversible clock toward a reliable Turn 7 table finish.
