Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain tribal deck helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, built around the connive mechanic and discard payoffs. The commander turns every discarded land into 2 life lost by each opponent while forcing a Villain to connive each combat, generating card advantage and +1/+1 counters. The deck deploys a dense package of Villain creatures - Madame Hydra, Mysterio, Master of Illusion, and Ultron, Unlimited produce token swarms, while Doctor Octopus, Master Planner and The Squadron Sinister provide anthem effects to turn the board lethal. The Mayhem mechanic on cards like Abomination, World Ravager and Carnage, Crimson Chaos offers graveyard recursion, and Thunderbolts Conspiracy returns fallen Villains. The primary win is combat damage through anthem-boosted Villain tokens, supplemented by Doctor Doom's land-discard life drain and the incidental drain from Kang, Temporal Tyrant and Typhoid Mary, Fractured.
