Commander: Omnath, Locus of Creation

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a four-color landfall prison deck built to break the most fundamental resource in Commander: mana. Omnath, Locus of Creation draws a card on entry and converts every landfall into life, a one-shot {R}{G}{W}{U}, and finally 4 damage to each opponent - and the deck's entire structure exists to fire that third trigger as often as possible. The plan pairs mass land destruction (Armageddon, Ravages of War, Catastrophe, Decree of Annihilation, Devastation) with graveyard-land recursion (Crucible of Worlds, Ramunap Excavator, Ancient Greenwarden, Splendid Reclamation) so the pilot ignores the reset while the table is stranded. Soft locks from Winter Orb, Back to Basics, Blood Moon, Hokori, Dust Drinker, and Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger compound the denial. When no one can pay for spells, token armies from Rampaging Baloths, Scute Swarm, and Tendershoot Dryad close the game. Slow, grinding, and heavily dependent on its commander, this deck wins by making Magic unaffordable for everyone but itself.
