Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief - Mutate by T2X8

Format: Commander

Commander: Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief leads an aggressive Simic tempo and mutate engine. The strategy revolves around deploying cheap non-Human host creatures such as Slippery Bogle or Stormchaser Drake, then casting single-target Auras and Mutate creatures. Whenever a spell targets another creature, Ivy copies it onto herself, effectively doubling every buff, card-draw trigger, and mutate stack for free. The deck wins by generating immense card advantage through copied cantrips and combat triggers, applying exponential pressure with power boosters like Ancestral Mask and Hydra's Growth, securing lethal poison counters via Venerated Rotpriest, or overwhelming the entire board with Overwhelming Stampede.
