Parnesse by ThananRollice

Format: Commander

Commander: Parnesse, the Subtle Brush

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Parnesse is a shield, not the engine: her first ability taxes any spell or ability that targets you or your permanents, and her copy-sharing is mainly a political tool. There is no double-faced commander; the deck is a Grixis spellslinger/storm build. Professor Onyx is the usual kill, with Veyran doubling every magecraft trigger so each cast or copy drains 4 life from each opponent. Thousand-Year Storm, Primal Wellspring, and Prismari, the Inspiration act as hidden commanders by multiplying every instant or sorcery. The deck wins by trigger accumulation in one large turn, not by a compact infinite combo, and uses flashback and Mizzix's Mastery to attempt a second chain if the first fails.
