Deck overview

Phenax is a mill commander: the deck builds a battlefield of high-toughness creatures and turns their taps into large mill activations. Bruvac the Grandiloquent is the hidden commander, since doubling every mill effect lets a kicked Maddening Cacophony or a Traumatize remove an entire library. Secondary paths use crabs and enchantments for incremental mill, attack triggers from Fleet Swallower and Nemesis of Reason, and a Peer into the Abyss plus Psychic Corrosion draw-mill combo. Phenax's role is both engine and finisher: he gives every creature a tap ability, while Bruvac, Fraying Sanity, and Sphinx's Tutelage multiply the output. The deck is casual-speed but resilient when Bruvac stays alive.
