What The Woods Bring by AtrumUnum

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce leads a mono-green bear-tribal stompy deck. The primary plan is to ramp on turns 1-2, cast Beorn by turn 3-4, then use his anthem and combat-trigger draw to fuel a board of trampling Bears and 4+ power creatures. Secondary paths include cheating large threats with Monster Manual and Bind to Life, plus recurring lands and creatures with Lumra, Sandman, and Virtue of Strength. The commander is the draw engine and anthem; the deck has no double-faced or hidden commander. Wins come from massive combat swings amplified by Unnatural Growth, Zopandrel, and Skullspore Nexus, with Hydra Omnivore spreading lethal damage.
