Commander: Homer, the Hermit

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Homer, the Hermit is a landfall-mill engine: every land drop mills opponents twice the number of Crabs, Starfish, and related creatures. The deck surrounds him with cheap crabs, extra land drops, and landfall doublers. The primary plan is incremental mill from repeated land plays; the secondary line is a burst turn with Scapeshift and Aftermath Analyst or Ancient Greenwarden. Bruvac the Grandiloquent and Singularity Rupture form an alternate mass-mill finish, but Bruvac is more often an amplifier than a standalone plan. There is no double-faced commander; the deck is built almost entirely around Homer, with Hedron Crab and Ruin Crab adding early pressure and support.
