I'on wanna be king bruv upgrade by Bobi

Format: Commander

Commander: Garland, Royal Kidnapper

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Dimir theft-and-reanimation list built around Garland, Royal Kidnapper. Garland gifts an opponent the monarch on entry, then steals a creature from whoever becomes the monarch and pumps every stolen body with +2/+2 and "can't be sacrificed." The 99 backs that engine with extra theft (Hostage Taker, Mind Flayer, Volatile Stormdrake, Shield Broker, Desertion), graveyard theft (Sepulchral Primordial, Extract from Darkness, Gyruda, Doom of Depths, The Cyber-Controller), and a goad package (Ghoulish Impetus, Coercive Impetus, Parasitic Impetus, The Master, Mesmerist) that forces monarch changes and turns opponents on each other. There are no infinite combos. The deck wins by accumulating a pumped stolen army and beating the table down, with Consuming Aberration and mass-reanimation spells as alternate haymakers. Garland is the unique monarch engine and anthem, but the 99 is already a functional theft pile - he is essential to the best version of the plan, not a hidden commander or a one-card win condition.
