Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Naya midrange combat strategy built around Toph, the First Metalbender. Toph turns nontoken artifacts into lands and earthbends a land each end step, creating resilient 2/2 land creatures with haste that return tapped whenever they die or face exile. The game plan focuses on rapid land deployment through low-cost ramp pieces and landfall engines like Lotus Cobra, Tireless Provisioner, and Scute Swarm. As lands accumulate, pump engines such as Bumi, Eclectic Earthbender, Felidar Retreat, and Badgermole rapidly expand the board's power. The deck transitions into a lethal win attempt around Turn 6 using overwhelming combat finishers like Triumph of the Hordes, Akroma's Will, or Return of the Wildspeaker. A dense suite of defensive spells, including Teferi's Protection and Heroic Intervention, guards the board against sweepers, while inherent earthbend recursion ensures the mana base easily survives wipes.
