Deck overview

This mono-red deck leverages Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms to execute an aggressive Equipment-based Voltron strategy backed by a secondary Godo, Bandit Warlord infinite combo. Powered by a dense fast-mana suite of artifacts, sol lands, and rituals, the deck aims to cast Gilgamesh as early as Turn 2 or 3. Upon entering the battlefield and attacking, Gilgamesh digs six cards deep each time, cheating Equipment directly onto the battlefield and attaching key pieces for free. Massive power enhancers like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, damage doublers like Mjölnir, Hammer of Thor, and keywords like double strike and infect allow Gilgamesh to eliminate opponents in rapid succession. The deck protects its proactive game plan with free and low-cost red interaction such as Deflecting Swat, Bolt Bend, and Pyroblast. While lacking stax and proactive resource denial, its high acceleration and damage output create an intense, fast clock.
