Deck overview

This deck is a four-color Polymorph Control deck piloted by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The game plan focuses on spending the early turns casting mana rocks and cheap token producers such as Skrelv's Hive and Staff of the Storyteller. On Turn 4, the deck deploys Jace and immediately uses his −3 loyalty ability to exile a token, revealing and cheating a game-ending creature or planeswalker from the library onto the battlefield. Powerful hits like Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Archon of Cruelty, and Archfiend of Despair strip opposing resources, tax incoming attacks, and generate overwhelming board presence. While the deck lacks an instant two-card infinite combo, its combination of pillowfort defenses, heavy attrition, and resilient beaters closes games decisively by Turn 7. Topdeck manipulation from Scroll Rack and Brainstorm ensures high-cost payoffs never get stuck in hand.
