Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain tribal deck helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, built around the discard-and-connive synergy. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of Villain creatures, leveraging cost reducers like Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord and lords like The Squadron Sinister to create an overwhelming board presence. The deck uses connive as a card-selection engine, fuels mayhem (discard-to-cast-from-graveyard) mechanics, and finishes through combat damage with evasion, token generation, and pump effects. Secondary win conditions include Abomination, World Ravager as a massive beater and Living Laser for token swarms. The deck is heavily dependent on its Villain type for synergy, but lacks fast mana or infinite combos, making it a mid-range value combat deck.
