Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Group Slug and Combo engine commanded by Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The strategy turns routine game actions—such as drawing cards, tapping lands, or upkeep steps—into lethal triggers by dealing exactly 1 damage to opponents through cards like Roiling Vortex, Underworld Dreams, and Manabarbs. Each instance of 1 life lost grows Ob Nixilis with +1/+1 counters and impulse-exiles cards from the top of the library, creating massive card advantage. The deck accelerates this game plan using fast mana rituals like Dark Ritual and Cabal Ritual. While the commander can easily eliminate opponents through commander damage, the primary finish is an infinite burn loop between Ob Nixilis and All Will Be One, or alternatively The Red Terror and All Will Be One. Tax effects like Blood Moon and Mana Web slow down opponents while Ob Nixilis rapidly digs for the win.
