Deck overview

This deck is a Boros artifact aggro-control deck led by Alibou, Ancient Witness. The primary strategy focuses on deploying low-cost artifact creatures and mana rocks during early turns, accelerating toward casting Alibou on Turn 5. Once Alibou is on the battlefield, attacking with artifact creatures triggers potent single-target burn and deep scrying proportional to the number of tapped artifacts you control. This allows the deck to remove blockers, burn down opposing life totals, and sculpt future draws. Midgame powerhouses like Precursor Golem, Titan Forge, and Hangarback Walker quickly build a wide board, while Wrecking Ball Arm and All That Glitters create massive individual threats. Defensive tap artifacts like Icy Manipulator and Edifice of Authority neutralize key opposing attackers while contributing to the tapped artifact count. The deck finishes games through sustained combat steps, closing out tables around Turn 10 with high-tempo artifact burn.
