Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin Oakenshield

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin Oakenshield leads a Dwarf-tribal build built around the storied threshold. The deck wants to control three artifacts, legendaries, and/or Sagas so Thorin grants blanket ward and the storied payoffs turn on: Balin becomes a damage engine, Fili makes tokens, Kili discounts equipment, and Dain Lord taxes attacks. Primary plan is go-wide token aggro with Dwarven Shortsword, Fili, Fearless Liberator, and At the Door; Equipment from Dain Ironfoot and Bearded Axe is the secondary beatdown path. The best finisher is Balin plus a large At the Door, converting each new Dwarf into discard-draw and spread damage. There is no hidden commander, but Balin is the de facto closer.
