Deck overview

This list is a competitive five-color combo deck helmed by The First Sliver. It uses an elite fast-mana package (Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Lotus Petal, Sol Ring, Mana Vault) to cast its commander as early as Turn 2–3. Once on the board, The First Sliver grants cascade to all subsequent Sliver spells, rapidly emptying the deck of low-cost creatures and assembling win conditions. The primary win condition is an infinite life-drain loop utilizing Sliver Queen, Basal Sliver, and Lavabelly Sliver. The deck defends its execution with top-tier protection pieces like Silence, Grand Abolisher, and Ranger-Captain of Eos, backed by free counterspells like Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat. Even without its commander, the deck possesses full access to redundant lines through Sliver Overlord and black tutors.
