Deck overview

This is a Bant +1/+1 counter and proliferate value engine helmed by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. The deck's plan is to stack counter-doubling effects (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, The Earth Crystal, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire) onto a board of mana dorks and evasive beaters, then convert that mass into a win through one of several channels: the infinite-mana line of Freed from the Real plus a counter-fed dork into Walking Ballista, the alternate win conditions of Simic Ascendancy and Twenty-Toed Toad, the point-race of Strixhaven Stadium, or simply overwhelming combat damage with unblockable, trampling, double-striking counter creatures. Tidus himself is a flexible counter-mover whose "Cheer" trigger turns combat into card draw plus proliferate, accelerating every counter plan on the board. The deck is a midrange snowball: slow to assemble, but explosive once the doubling and proliferate pieces line up.
