Deck overview

This mono-red deck turns the battlefield into an inescapable arena of war using Kratos, God of War. Kratos grants all creatures haste, attacks with double strike, and punishes any opponent who holds back potential attackers by dealing direct end-step damage. The deck accelerates quickly on Turns 1 and 2 with efficient mana rocks and rituals, casting Kratos on Turn 3 to immediately pressure life totals. On Turn 4, it deploys damage multipliers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell, Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, or Fiery Emancipation, turning both combat hits and passive non-attacker burn into lethal bursts. Forced combat pieces such as Alexios, Deimos of Kosmos and Disrupt Decorum dismantle opposing defenses while Sulfuric Vortex and Sunspine Lynx prevent opponents from stabilizing their life totals. Supported by extra combats and explosive postcombat mana from Neheb, the Eternal, the deck reliably finishes all opponents by Turn 6.
