Deck overview

This is a brutally efficient Animar, Soul of Elements deck that leverages the commander's built-in cost reduction to accelerate into an Ancestral Statue combo kill, typically via Walking Ballista or a massive creature beatdown. The deck runs an extremely low-curve creature package-every mana dork, value piece, and combo enabler costs two mana or less-so Animar's counters accumulate rapidly after he lands. The primary game plan is to ramp heavily through dorks and fast mana (Sol Ring, Chrome Mox, Lotus Petal), deploy Animar on turn 3 or 4, use his protection from white and black to keep him safe, then chain small creatures to build counters until Ancestral Statue can be cast for {0}, bouncing itself infinitely. With infinite cast triggers, the deck generates infinite +1/+1 counters on Animar and infinite mana via creatures like Enduring Vitality or Bloom Tender, then sinks that into Walking Ballista for an instant table kill. Secondary lines involve overwhelming the board with huge creatures or using Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy and Survival of the Fittest to assemble alternative wins.
